The Buck Stove Homesteader Wood Cook Stove is a freestanding wood-burning cook stove designed to provide both home heating and everyday cooking in a single appliance. Featuring a large steel cooktop and an integrated oven, it allows you to bake, roast, and prepare meals while using the heat generated from burning seasoned cordwood.
With a heating capacity of approximately 800 to 1,800 square feet and an output of 11,079 to 28,901 BTU per hour, the Homesteader is suitable for cabins, rural homes, workshops, and other spaces where wood heat is desired. Because it operates without electricity, it can also continue providing heat and cooking capability during power outages or in off-grid applications.
Separate air and bypass damper controls help regulate combustion and direct heat around the oven, while high-temperature ceramic glass windows provide visibility into both the firebox and oven during operation. A removable ash pan simplifies routine maintenance, and the stove is designed for connection to a properly installed 6-inch chimney system in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
