Description

The Empire Rushmore 40" See Through Direct Vent Gas Fireplace creates a two-sided fireplace presentation designed to be enjoyed from adjoining spaces. Its TruFlame Technology combines independently controlled front and rear burners with a large glowing ember bed for tall, natural-looking flames visible through both sides of the firebox. Designed for zero-clearance built-in installation, the Rushmore 40 See Through is available for Natural Gas or Propane and requires a compatible log set and liner to complete the fireplace.

The Rushmore 40 See Through delivers up to 60,500 BTU with Natural Gas or 55,000 BTU with Propane and includes a multifunction thermostat variable remote control for flame adjustment, thermostat operation, and independent secondary burner control. Battery backup maintains fireplace operation during a power outage, while an optional stainless steel outdoor kit allows installation on an exterior wall for indoor and outdoor viewing.

  • Multifunction thermostat variable remote control, battery backup holder and switch, barrier screen assemblies, glass assemblies, two non-combustible boards, ember chunk assembly, rockwool, three AAA batteries, four AA batteries, drywall screws, and installation hardware. Required log set and liner sold separately.

  • Six Flame Levels – Remote flame control allows the flame height to be adjusted through six levels.
  • Independent Secondary Burner Control – Split Flow control allows the secondary burner to be switched on or off from the remote.
  • Battery Backup – Included battery backup allows fireplace operation during a power outage.
  • Zero-Clearance Installation – Designed for installation within a framed enclosure using the supplied framing provisions.
  • Optional Indoor/Outdoor Installation – A stainless steel outdoor kit allows the fireplace to be installed on an exterior wall for viewing from indoors and outdoors.
